What We Need:

The Smiths Falls Public Library is currently undergoing an extensive renovation/expansion of the children’s department which is located on the top floor of our Carnegie building at 81 Beckwith Street North.  This renovation will allow every child and their family members to visit the children’s department.  There will be elevator access to the department, an accessible washroom, and a larger and much more flexible space.  While the approximately $1.4 million renovation is fully-funded, we are looking for help to purchase updated furniture for the space.  We need approximately $100,000 to allow us to purchase updated, child-friendly furniture for the space.  The furniture will include movable shelving, tables, chairs, and fun elements.

We welcome donations of all amounts.  As we are a registered charity, you will be issued with a charitable tax receipt.

If you choose to donate at least $1,000, your name will be added on a permanent book spine on our Wall of Donors (unless you prefer to be anonymous).

How to Donate:

We prefer donations via cheque or cash so that 100% of your donation can go towards the furniture.  You can also donate to us via GoFundMe or Canada Helps
